Thoughts: Very little crema, sort of a burnt taste. Cheap beans is probably the root of the problem at Starbucks, as the machines are likely quite good. However, by far this it isn’t the shittiest espresso in the city. I definitely didn’t hate sipping it, but I can’t ever imagine drinking it again so long as I am in New York. Why settle for espresso that is “not so shitty” when there are so many places that do it better.
Side note: Why such long lines here?
